FREC Level 3

The QA Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (QCF) qualification is specifically designed for those seeking a career in the emergency services, ambulance services, the event medical sector or those who work in high risk workplaces.

FREC Level 4

The QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (QCF) qualification is specifically designed for those who want to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency treatment.

FREUC Level 5

The QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) is intended for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care at an incident.

Successful learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competences needed to deal with a wide range of prehospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more. It is ideal for those who are looking to progress their career in the emergency services, ambulance services, event medical sectors and high risk workplaces.

This qualification is suitable for those who are working within the ambulance (private or NHS) and event medical sectors in roles such as: Ambulance Technician, Medical Technician and Clinicians working within high risk workplaces. The qualification would also suit learner who wish to progress onto our paramedic education pathway.

Learners must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the training.

There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent and a basic understanding of first aid.

Paying for your course is simple, choose one of the following options to arrange your payment.


Visit our website and click on the course you’d like to attend and choose the date that is convenient for you. Then click the ‘BOOK NOW’ button and follow the secure payment instructions. Once we receive your booking, we will be in touch with a confirmation and joining instructions.


If you’d like to book a course and pay by credit or debit card, you can call our booking hub and arrange your payment by card over the phone, just call 01513525387. Upon receipt of your payment we will send a confirmation and course joining instructions.


If you’d prefer to pay by bank transfer, we will raise an invoice for your course. The invoice contains payment details, upon receipt of full payment we will send a confirmation and course joining instructions.


Payment by instalments is available for courses over £600. A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking to confirm your place on the course.  25% is payable 7 days prior to the course commencing, and the final 50% is due on completion of the course. (This option is subject to agreement).


If you would like to work for Manone as payment for your course, you can pay back your course fees as a salary deduction. Please note this is subject to successful completion of our recruitment process.
