First Response Emergency & Urgent Care
The QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) is intended for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care at an incident.This qualification is suitable for those who are working within the ambulance (private or NHS) and event medical sectors in roles such as: Ambulance Technician, Medical Technician and Clinicians working within high risk workplaces. The qualification would also suit learner who wish to progress onto our paramedic education pathway.
Successful Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a wide range of prehospital emergency situations, such as: the roles and responsibilities of a clinician, human anatomy and physiology, assessing and managing acute symptoms, managing life-threatening infections and post incident management.
Learners must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the training.
Learners must have successfully completed the QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care.
There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

- Assessment & management of acute conditions
- Obstetrics & gynaecology
- Urgent Care in the prehospital environment
- 12 Lead ECG and Capnography
- Incapacitating agents
Paying for your course is simple, choose one of the following options to arrange your payment.

PAY BY CARD
If you’d like to book a course and pay by credit or debit card, you can call our booking hub and arrange your payment by card over the phone, just call 01513525387. Upon receipt of your payment we will send a confirmation and course joining instructions.
PAY BY BANK TRANSFER
If you’d prefer to pay by bank transfer, we will raise an invoice for your course. The invoice contains payment details, upon receipt of full payment we will send a confirmation and course joining instructions.
PAY BY INSTALMENTS
Payment by instalments is available for courses over £600. A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking to confirm your place on the course. 25% is payable 7 days prior to the course commencing, and the final 50% is due on completion of the course. (This option is subject to agreement).
EARN WHILST YOU LEARN
If you would like to work for Manone as payment for your course, you can pay back your course fees as a salary deduction. Please note this is subject to successful completion of our recruitment process.
